LYRC Voting for 3rd-5th graders

Details:

Third through fifth grade students at Drew are able to participate in a state-wide program that encourages students to read 15 books selected by a committee of librarians from the state of Louisiana. About half are usually fiction chapter books while about half are non-fiction picture books. (These are usually highly interesting that adults and children both have enjoyed learning about.) Students that have read 3 or more can attend our voting party on January 29th where they will vote for their favorite using an official state election voting machine. Each student will also be able to enjoy donuts and juice as an added treat!
